Linda Lee, Ph.D.

Distinguished Professor at Purdue University

Linda S. Lee is a Distinguished Professor at Purdue University with joint appointments in the Colleges of Agriculture and Engineering. She joined Purdue in 1993 with degrees in Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, and Soil Chemistry and Contaminant Hydrology from the University of Florida. Her research focuses on chemical fate, analytical tools, waste reuse, and contaminant management strategies with PFAS challenges driving much of her research for the last two decades. She is well-published in top tier environmental journals and served as a primary mentor of over 50 graduate students to date. Her current research is supported by a diverse funding portfolio including USEPA, USDA, DOD, NSF, USGS, and WRF. In addition to her distinguished research record, Dr. Lee is a highly regarded environmental professional for her three decades of notable work and awards in teaching, mentoring, and service.
